We want every single senior session to be unique. Our goal when working with all clients is building trust and really letting them be themselves but also give plenty of direction along the way. We're all about removing any awkward feels of the senior session. Its about hanging out, exploring around different areas of town (or beach etc), finding perfect spots and then just having a fun outing together. We make it painless and easy, and dare-I-say... FUN. We promise to capture genuine smiles and a relaxed feel ( smiles not always required). For anyone worried about jumping in front of a camera and "performing"- no sweat! While we want you to be yourself, we want that to be done in a way that also photographs well- that part is on us! We like to get to see your outfits and see where those colors will photograph best in the scheme of our time together. We're there every step of the session guiding and giving direction, and cracking some seriously terrible jokes. We are there to make both the senior themselves and the parents happy. Let us know some stuff you like, or don't like for that matter so we can deliver the best possible gallery.

Something we always remind our clients about our sessions- some of it involves trusting in us and being a bit out of their comfort zone and the most reassuring thing is how we operate. We'll review your full proofing gallery together and YOU get to pick the images YOU love. That makes it so much easier to relax and let-go at the session. Its unlikely you'll love every image, and thats totally okay. Some people love images of themselves smiling, others hate it. But by letting go, and knowing that the images that "don't make the cut" never need to see the light of day is a bit freeing. So feel free to laugh at the corny jokes we offer and if you hate the snort-laugh we created then its gone from the gallery, but if you surprisingly love how happy and free you look it stays. Truth be told ( more often than not) we hear our clients crying when they see their gallery. Shocked and empowered at either their own beauty or masculine-vibe we've created from the session. We typically hear things like "oh wow these are all so amazing its going to be impossible to decide" or " thats it, you're officially our photographer for life". The best thing we heard from a senior was "Its official, I want you shooting my engagement pictures someday years from now, and my maternity images when that happens, and then newborn sessions even further in my future". <-----Thats why we do what we do, and THOSE testimonials are the things we're trying to hear every time! And if you're a mom reading this and its you're senior "baby" you're wanting to book for, sorry but our goal is to make you cry. Then we've done our job right!
