an all white feel...
I was so excited when this little sweetie Maura came into the studio recently and Mom previously requested ALL WHITE for the session. She wanted it clean, and classic, and timeless. These images can hang anywhere in the house and NEVER go out of style. Im obsessed with the simplicity of it all. This sassy little girl COULD have loved her time with us a bit more, but even when the parents asked about her fussing and "is this normal" - we responded that it sure can be! Babies are unpredictable, and even the same exact baby can be different on different days, or different times of the day even ( have y'all heard the term "witching hour"? phew its a real thing! AND the number one reason we won't photograph newborns in the evenings, for everyones sake lol).
While you'll likely not look at our typical work and think to yourself "wow that image feels cluttered and too much going on", this all-white request just really gave us a chance to be super focused on baby. We're always pretty minimal and baby-focused though so if you love color, we're here for that too. Do what makes your heart happy and will go best in your home, and avoid big big trends, and you'll never go wrong with newborn photos!
