What to wear for holiday minis 2024...
These Sessions should be all about light and bright and airy and clean and timeless. Im creating one blog location to address items suggested for both my *outdoor* greenhouse sessions AND the indoor winter white set at our studio. While the same style guide is drawn from - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep in mind that heft/thickness/warmth of clothing should be considered. Our studio date will be cooled to mid 60's in the studio to avoid sweating clients ( And photographer lol) allowing some clients to wear sweaters and not melt. While not being too cold for clients who opt for dresses/skirts/babies in lesser clothing. (If you're at the greenhouse- it's of the utmost importance to dress accordingly for the temperatures, which are often times in the 40's which is darn near freezing as we're entering winter. IF you/children/babies/husband are cold, it pretty much guarantees less than stellar results and thats not what we want. So THINK LAYERSSSSSSS)
The overall aesthetic, is winter whites. Think all things white, off white, tan, cream, light khaki. As far as materials go, also lean into some cool weather feelings like sweaters, wools, suede, etc.
