2022 seniors
Im sad to think about our senior sessions slowly coming to and end this year ( ya know, weather :| around WNY). I swear, Im more blown away each and every time we met a new senior this year. They're so poised and relaxed ( annnnnd ehemmm- photogenic) than ever before it seems. I love showing the ones who aren't as confident as they should be that they're perfect. Our number one goal is to provide beautiful pictures, sure, but also a great experience from start to finish. I want communication with the senior and their parents to be seamless and easy. We offer advice on locations and time of day to best capture the beautiful lighting, along with the time we spend going over outfit options when we first meet up with clients. The goal is to give plenty of variety for everyone to choose from afterwards. It should be easy. And fun. I love giving posing advice but also yelling "freeze, dont move a muscle" when I watch you fix your hair, or your shirt ( or hell, scratch an itch), because I love seeing people move naturally ( though I love to make my clients laugh with some of my posing advice when I say something like "okay no hold your pee in" while Im demonstrating and they totally learn what the heck Im talking about. I literally cannot imagine what its like to have a senior child in school so I know the parents are stressed and I want to make it special and memorable( ohhhh, but Elaine our photography assistant knows EXACTLY what its like as her son is a senior this year, so she can connect to all the parents we've worked with this year!).
