NICHOLAS IS ONE
All-star theme/sport cake smash session for Nicholas was so fun, and wow is he the cutest! He did amazing ( ya know, until his big sis showed up all ready to model and he had decided he'd had enough of us, but we still got a couple of them together). One of our favorite times for cake smash sessions is letting the babies play in the bath after they smash up the cake. Aren't these pictures the sweetest thing of him splashing it up? So simple and timeless and classic. Those are all things we strive for during our sessions. Something you can proudly hang on your wall now and still look at ten, twenty, thirty years from now and not be focused on a silly prop or gimmick-y looks. The focus is your baby. Their perfect little skin, and round cheeks, and little baby rolls that they outgrow too quick. Their long lashes, their sweet little expressions. No bells and whistles required other than the masterpiece you've already created for us! And dont get me wrong, I LOVE setting up for elaborate cake smashes too, but my heart always lies with a baby on a solid backdrop, and whelp, thats it!
Side note- almost everyone who's ever worked with us knows how I feel about suggesting (firmly, lol) that moms consider getting in some shots with their babies. Nicholas mom here has eluded me for far too long. So hopefully this post here is enough to push her for next time lol! Moms- here's your reminder- get.in.the.picture!!!!! Something we always remind mommas too, you get to view your images before purchasing, so if you put yourself out there for five minutes and don't absolutely love the images, they'll never see the light of day. THAT is a win-win. No risk. Just trust us.
